What’s happening? That is, between the Monaco Boat Show end of September and Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, four weeks later in October? I check my lovely Diary and I espy lots of empty white space ! That can’t be right!
It’s still Med cruising time and the Pacific and Indian ocean is absolutely a must for serious charting at this time of the season. Heading to Florida for the 51st Fort Lauderdale boat show - the world's largest - featuring more than 3 billion dollars worth of boats, yachts and super yachts can’t be missed – the Bahia Mar Yachting Centre, Las Olas Marina, Fort Lauderdale Grande Hotel & Yacht Club – delicious!
That leaves just a fortnight to go to Abu Dhabi Grand Prix! Perhaps it’s time to look up a totally gorgeous favourite of mine, the Panther II, a two year old feline of breathtaking, cool Italian design elegance.
You’ve never experienced streamlining, until you’ve paced the entire 136 foot length of the most finest decking from needle-sharp prow to rear. Six luxury staterooms and acres of leisure lounge furnished in snow white, electric blue or ruby red, jet skis, water skis, home theatre, satellite TV, Playstations, iPod docking – and of course, the on deck jacuzzi.
