This is maybe more Melacina’s cup of tea (or Krug flute!) but came across little press stories of so called celebs seen getting away from it all on big boats this week, like England footballer, Wayne Rooney, of all people!
He’s been spotted with wife, Colleen, family and a large partying entourage thoroughly enjoying themselves on a Caribbean yachting holiday – and just days after that most inglorious early exit from the World Cup.
Not to mention former wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan’s ex-wife, Linda Bollea snapped celebrating July 4th American Independence Day in Florida on her hilariously misspelled yacht, ‘Alimoney’ – presumably a reference to her ‘outstanding’ divorce settlement.
I even came across pics of disgraced US golfer, Tiger Wood’s $20 million,155 foot tri-deck motor yacht, named ‘Privacy’ – ho, hum! If you see what I mean.
Talking of interesting but rare sightings, finally, Ipharra, a luxury 102 foot Sunreef 102 Double Deck Catamaran, only built last year, is gliding through the Med waters even as we speak, with talk of her 3 man crew chartering around that hot celeb spot, Sardinia, in August.
Guess if you book now you might just catch a sporting star or two relaxing on the sundeck, it seems so many of them are doing that right now!
