Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Sails Into View

Spain seems to be flavour of the moment! Just got back from Valencia Grand Prix to see Rafael Nadal win Wimbledon - and I hear that Spain are through to the World Cup semis!

But now I can’t wait for the next Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi ! OMIGOD - you just don’t get to see megayachts, its the biggest megayachts ! So big, they have as many crew as guests onboard!

Last year, the world's largest private yacht available for charter, Lauren L (296 feet long) which can accommodate up to 40 guests and Alysia (280 feet long) - featuring a staggering 26 thousand square feet of guest-space - were lording it over Yas Island with exclusive viewing of the FI racing circuit.

Our own O’Mega ( 269 foot) and RM Elegant ( 237 foot) comes the closest to those totally awesome babes. No problem sailing into harbour and dropping your anchor from one of those two, that’s for sure.

Yet sometimes, big but can be matched in style, without the extra footage, you know! Megastyle doesn’t come any classier than Ocean Emerald - an iconic, ocean-going lifestyle statement of our times, no less! At 135 foot, she's nearly half the length of the Alysia, but I would say she’s twice the class act when it comes to contemporary styling.

That’s no surprise really when you realise that she was lovingly crafted at Rodriguez last year with that superior Italian eye for elegance we all know and love.

Continental class - can you beat it? Not according to Nadal, it seems!
